Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom intensify experience exchange in legislation
Recently, in London, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, participated in a meeting with the heads of foreign policy agencies of Central Asia and the Speaker of the House of Commons of the United Kingdom, Sir Lindsay Harvey Hoyle. This meeting took place at the Palace of Westminster and was organized with the support of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Central Asia.

During the negotiations, the participants discussed the deepening of inter-parliamentary cooperation. Kulubaev, in particular, shared information about the results of the recent elections to the Jogorku Kenesh, noting their compliance with both national legislation and international standards, which confirmed the democratic, competitive, and transparent nature of the process.

He also emphasized the importance of the parliament's role in the political and economic life of the country, adding that the Jogorku Kenesh actively supports state reforms and contributes to the accelerated development of the economy as well as improved governance.

The Minister expressed a desire to intensify the exchange of experiences between Kyrgyzstan and the United Kingdom, highlighting priority areas for further cooperation.

Kulubaev noted that direct contacts between legislative bodies would contribute to strengthening bilateral political dialogue and complementing intergovernmental interaction.
