In connection with the escalation of the situation around Iran, all law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan have been put on round-the-clock alert. This was reported by the press secretary of the President of Kazakhstan, Aibek Smadiyarov.

As Smadiyarov noted, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the Secretary of the Security Council, Gizat Nurdauletov, to develop an emergency response plan in collaboration with the heads of law enforcement agencies and responsible ministries, taking into account the deterioration of the situation around Iran and potential threats to stability in Kazakhstan.

According to the directive from the head of state, all law enforcement agencies are already operating in round-the-clock mode. In addition, a special monitoring group has been established under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Regional akimats have been instructed to consider the current events in the Middle East when developing local security measures.

Today, Israel began its missile strikes on Iran, declaring it a "preventive attack." Washington confirmed this information, adding that the operation was carried out jointly with Israel and was named "Lion's Roar."

In response, Tehran attacked U.S. military bases using ballistic missiles launched at targets located in six countries of the Persian Gulf.
