Kulubaev met with Erdogan in Istanbul

On March 7, a meeting took place in Istanbul between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the foreign ministers of the countries that are part of the Organization of Turkic States. They arrived in the city to participate in an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers. This information was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, Erdoğan welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation among Turkic states. He highlighted the need for regular dialogue on key issues of the regional and international agenda, as well as expressed interest in expanding multilateral interaction within the organization.

Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, conveyed greetings and best wishes from President Sadyr Japarov to Erdoğan. He noted that Turkey remains one of the most significant and reliable partners of Kyrgyzstan, with which Bishkek maintains friendly and mutually respectful relations, as well as a comprehensive strategic partnership.

Additionally, the minister emphasized Erdoğan's personal contribution to promoting peaceful initiatives aimed at resolving both regional and global conflicts through diplomacy.

Kulubaev also informed those present about the preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the World Nomad Games, which are scheduled to take place this year in Bishkek.
