Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Turkic States met with Turkish President Erdogan
On March 7, a meeting of the foreign ministers of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States took place in Istanbul with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. This event was part of an informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Turkic States.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erdogan welcomed those present and emphasized the need for further strengthening of cooperation among Turkic states. He highlighted the importance of regular dialogue on current issues of both regional and international agendas, and expressed interest in developing multilateral interaction within the organization.

Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President Sadyr Japarov to Erdogan. He noted that Turkey is one of Kyrgyzstan's key and reliable partners, with whom relations are based on friendship, mutual respect, and strategic partnership.


Kulubaev also noted the significant contribution of the Turkish president to peace initiatives aimed at resolving conflicts at both regional and global levels through diplomatic means.

In addition, the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister informed the participants about the preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and the sixth World Nomad Games, which will be held in Bishkek this year.

As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further deepen bilateral cooperation and develop interaction within international and regional organizations.
