Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev met with representatives of the European Parliament, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. During the meeting, aspects of bilateral cooperation, inter-parliamentary interaction, and issues concerning the region were discussed.

The minister informed the delegates about the current political and economic reforms being implemented in Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing their significance for the sustainable development of the country. In particular, he presented major investment projects such as the construction of the "Kambar-Ata-1" hydropower station and the establishment of the "China - Kyrgyzstan - Uzbekistan" railway line. Zheenbek Kulubaev also noted the importance of attracting modern technologies from Europe, stressing the strategic significance of transport integration and energy security.

Discussing regional cooperation issues, the minister emphasized that stability in Central Asia has been achieved through the joint efforts of the countries in the region aimed at strengthening good-neighborly relations and constructive dialogue.

At the end of the meeting, an open discussion took place, during which Zheenbek Kulubaev answered questions from the European parliamentarians on the most pressing topics. He clearly articulated Kyrgyzstan's position regarding secondary sanctions and explained the measures being taken, reaffirming the commitment to international obligations.

Details were also provided on important aspects of the regional agenda, including key challenges and initiatives concerning Central Asia.
