The main task of the new institution will be to oversee the implementation of the road construction project, as well as to coordinate the actions of government bodies, local self-government bodies, and contractors.
According to the adopted document, the staff of the directorate will consist of 13 employees. The Ministry of Transport has been tasked with registering the new institution with the justice authorities and organizing its material and technical support.
Funding for the directorate's operations will be provided from the allocated construction funds, not exceeding 2.9 percent of the total investment in the project.
In addition, the resolution includes amendments to several government decisions regarding the structure of the Ministry of Transport and the norms for the expenditure of funds on construction projects.
This document will come into force 10 days after its signing.
