Tilek Mamadaliev also emphasized that in recent years, the state has fully covered the costs of treatment for patients in need of hemodialysis. Previously, many citizens sought financial assistance through social networks due to a lack of funds for treatment.
However, he noted that hemodialysis does not fully address the problem of chronic kidney failure. The primary method of therapy remains organ transplantation. However, not all patients in need of a transplant can undergo the procedure for medical reasons, and their treatment is also covered by the state.
Since 2023, organ transplant surgeries have also begun to be performed at the Kyrgyz-Turkish Hospital with the participation of Turkish specialists. To date, 10 surgeries have been conducted, with another 10 planned for the future.
