Montenegro is ready to promote bilateral cooperation with Kyrgyzstan

During the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Ervin Ibrahimović, to Kyrgyzstan, a meeting was held with Adylbek Kasymaliev. This was reported by the press service of the government.

Kasymaliev noted that the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in deepening cooperation and strengthening ties with Montenegro in various areas of mutual interest.

He also expressed hope that the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Montenegro in Bishkek would be an important step towards further developing relations and strengthening friendship between the two countries. In response, Ibrahimović thanked the Kyrgyz side for the warm welcome and confirmed Montenegro's readiness to actively promote bilateral cooperation.

During the conversation, the parties discussed possible directions for strengthening Kyrgyz-Montenegrin relations, including trade, economy, tourism, agriculture, and energy.

In addition, Kasymaliev invited the Montenegrin delegation to participate in the second Global Mining Summit, scheduled for 2027 under the auspices of the UN, as well as Montenegrin athletes to the upcoming VI World Nomad Games.
