Members of the council, representatives of various government structures, as well as international and non-governmental organizations participated in the meeting. The participants reviewed reports on activities aimed at supporting children with disabilities, discussed measures for the prevention of disabilities, including the dissemination of screening methods and existing problems with their implementation, as well as the development of inclusive education for children with special educational needs. A presentation of an action plan for the implementation of a Program aimed at creating conditions for psychological, medical, and pedagogical support for individuals with special psychophysical development from 2026 to 2030 was also presented.
As a result of the meeting, recommendations were formulated and further steps were defined to improve state policy in this area.
