“It is necessary to check all pawnshop organizations without exception,” Tashiev stated, highlighting the importance of the involvement of tax inspectors and National Bank employees in this process.
He also proposed setting a limit on interest rates for loans — no more than 30 percent.
“If someone exceeds 30 percent or if property has been seized from someone, it must be returned,” added the chairman of the SCNS.
In his opinion, pawnshop owners must operate within the established rules.
“If a pawnshop can adhere to the 30 percent limit, let it operate. Otherwise — it should close down,” he summarized.

Tashiev also emphasized that government agencies should not remain indifferent to violations that affect citizens. “People buy cars and take out loans — why should we remain indifferent to this lawlessness? Our task is to protect the interests of citizens,” he noted.
The chairman of the SCNS identified restoring order in the pawnshop sector as one of the key priorities of his work.
