In Kyrgyzstan, an inspection of pawnshops will begin, as reported by the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) of the Kyrgyz Republic.
This task was announced on January 19 by the Chairman of the SCNS, Kamchybek Tashiev, during a meeting with citizens affected by the actions of S.M., who is accused in a criminal case.
The inspection will be conducted jointly with tax inspectors and representatives of the National Bank to analyze the interest rates and conditions under which loans are provided in pawnshops.
We remind you that S.M., who has multiple criminal convictions, has long been engaged in illegal activities in the field of pawnshops and usury. He issued loans on onerous terms with high interest rates, which allowed him to illegally seize movable and immovable property from citizens.
