During a session of the European Parliament, Danish MP Anders Vistisen lost his composure and addressed U.S. President Donald Trump in a crude manner, telling him to "f... off" in response to his claims about Greenland. The broadcast of his speech was available on the European Parliament's website, as reported by "Lenta.ru".
"Let me put it this way so that you understand, Mr. President — f... off," the MEP stated.
The Speaker of the European Parliament was forced to interrupt Vistisen after his offensive remark, reminding him of the rules prohibiting such statements during sessions.
Earlier, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former Prime Minister of Denmark and ex-NATO Secretary General, called on Europe to stop appeasing Trump in the context of the dispute over the status of Greenland.
