The former akim was detained by the GKNB
Changes have occurred in the leadership of the Chui region — a new akim has been appointed. This information was provided by the press service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Emilbek Abdykadyrov, who previously held the position of akim of the At-Bashinsky district in the Naryn region, will now lead the Chui region.
It should be noted that his predecessor, Ruslan Tagaev, was detained by GKNB employees. He is suspected of abusing his official powers, in particular, of illegally issuing permits for the extraction of sand and gravel mixtures.
