The director of a private driving school has been accused of inciting 'mass riots'

The court has issued a one-month arrest order


Medербек Тагайбек уулу, the head of one of the private driving schools, is under investigation. According to Radio Azattyk, he is accused of inciting "mass riots."

A criminal case has been initiated against him under part 3 of Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek has decided to arrest the director of the "Driver Training Center" for a period of one month.

It should be noted that reforms in driver training are underway in the country, initiated by the presidential administration. Licenses for private driving schools have been revoked until August 2026, and driver training is now only available in state institutions.
