On January 27, during monitoring of social networks and internet platforms, a user with the nickname meder.tagaibekovich was discovered, who had publications aimed at discrediting the authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic and provoking tension in society.
Law enforcement agencies found that the comments on the mentioned publications contained calls and statements that could lead to public disorder. In particular, these materials concerned the topic of closing private driving schools in Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, a criminal procedure was initiated under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which covers mass riots and calls for disobedience to the laws.
The detainee, born in 1994, was identified as M. T., and he was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek. He is the head of the LLC "Driver Training Center." The investigation is ongoing.
