The police conducted an analysis of publications on social media
In Bishkek, a case of spreading materials that contribute to the destabilization of the socio-political situation has been recorded. This was reported by the Interior Ministry.
According to law enforcement agencies, on January 27, 2026, during the monitoring of internet resources and social networks, publications aimed at discrediting state structures of the Kyrgyz Republic and creating tension in public life were found on the Instagram page of the user "meder.tagaibekovich".
In the comments to these publications, social media users left statements that could lead to violations of public order and mass riots. In particular, issues concerning the closure of private driving schools in the country were discussed.
In this regard, the Investigative Service initiated a criminal case under Article 278 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to mass riots and calls for disobedience to lawful demands of authorities.
During operational investigative activities, police officers detained M.T., born in 1994, who was taken to the police station and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Interior Ministry in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detainee holds the position of director of the LLC "Aidoochulardy Dayardoo Borbor" — "Driver Training Center".
Currently, necessary investigative actions and checks are ongoing.
