Children fell through the ice while playing
In the Sokuluk district, in the village of Zhany-Pakhta, a tragic incident occurred, resulting in the drowning of three four-year-old children. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The accident happened on the evening of February 2, when the little ones were playing on a frozen body of water and fell through the ice.
Local residents were able to retrieve the bodies of the children and handed them over to the police. Currently, examinations have been appointed to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
The children were relatives and lived nearby the site of the tragedy.
Police officers urge parents and guardians to pay more attention to the safety of their children, especially near bodies of water.
