Criminals disguise themselves under the names and logos of well-known companies, banks, and government institutions, creating a false impression of the legitimacy of their actions.
- Attracting with promises of easy profit.
Fraudsters offer favorable conditions for investing in various "projects," promising high returns in a short time with little effort.
- Initial payouts to build trust.
After making the first deposit, you may receive a small portion of your funds back, presenting it as "profit." Remember: this money is either your own or the funds of other victims!
- Blocking and disappearing.
As soon as you decide to invest a larger amount, the fraudsters instantly block you and remove you from groups, leaving you without money.
How to protect yourself from fraud?
- Do not trust promises of quick and high profits.
If you are offered income that significantly exceeds bank rates, it is likely a scam.
- Ensure the presence of a license.
Investments should only be made with the appropriate permits from the National Bank or other authorized bodies.
- Be cautious with anonymity in messaging apps.
If communication occurs solely through a messenger and the company has no physical office or address, it is better to stay away from them.
