GKNB employees, together with the Internal Investigations Department of the State Penitentiary Service (GSIN) and the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD), found that employees of IK-16, known as Zh.D., and a police officer from the First May District Department of Internal Affairs, named T.N., deceived a convict from IK-1. From December 2024 to April 2025, they received a significant amount of money from the inmate, promising to assist him with his pardon request. However, ultimately, he was denied this procedure.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this matter under Article 204, Part 4 ("Fraud using official position") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The detainees were placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
