Earlier, the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region reported the detention of a man in the Jayil district, who is suspected of fraud related to the issuance of driver's licenses. According to law enforcement data, in November 2025, a resident of the Panfilov district approached the police, stating that I. R. had promised, for a certain fee, to include him in the electronic database for obtaining a driver's license.
The victim handed over 30,600 soms to the suspect; however, the promised actions were not carried out, and the money was not returned. In this regard, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan. The suspect, who already had a criminal record and was born in 1966, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
