The Ministry of Internal Affairs warned about fake videos impersonating government officials.

Recently, fake videos created using artificial intelligence technologies have begun to spread on social networks. They impersonate addresses from high-ranking government and security officials and promise citizens "income of 60 to 150 thousand soms per week" through some investment platform.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic strongly emphasizes that these videos have no relation to the actual statements of officials and are absolute lies.

In this regard, the Ministry of Internal Affairs urges citizens to be cautious: do not click on suspicious links, do not trust promises of easy profit, and do not disclose personal information to strangers.

An investigation is currently underway regarding the dissemination of this false content, and the materials will be sent for legal assessment.
