A man suspected of attempting to rape a minor and stealing livestock has been detained in the Issyk-Kul region. This information was provided by the press service of the regional police department.
According to law enforcement agencies, on December 27, 2025, a woman living in the area reported to the police. She stated that on the same day around 3:00 PM at the beach of the lake in the "Green City" recreation area, an unknown individual committed sexual acts against her 15-year-old daughter. It was also reported that the suspect threatened the victim and damaged her mobile phone.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Additionally, on December 30, 2025, a man named R.B., born in 1977, reported to the Ton district police department. He stated that on December 12, 2025, he hired a young man named O.K., born in 2001, through the mobile application "Lalafo" to graze 30 sheep of the Arashan breed. However, on December 28, it became known that this person had fled with the sheep in an unknown direction, resulting in a loss of $15,000, which is equivalent to 1,320,000 soms.
A criminal case was also initiated in this matter in accordance with part 3 of Article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On February 6, 2026, during operational search activities, law enforcement agencies identified and detained the suspect, who turned out to be a resident of Balykchy, O.K., born in 2001.
The court ordered him to be held in custody for a period of two months. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
