Two Russian bloggers arrested in Almaty for insulting girls
Two bloggers from Russia, Rinat Pashaev and Anar Abdullayev, were arrested in Almaty for 15 days. The reason was their offensive speech directed against Kazakh girls.

The arrest followed their livestream, which caused public outcry. As a result, the Ministry of Internal Affairs opened a criminal case, as reported by the General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan.

Deputy Prosecutor General Galymzhan Koigeldiev noted that the bloggers are accused of petty hooliganism. Additionally, the police have initiated an investigation under Article 174, concerning incitement of interethnic hatred in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Local media report that in their video, the bloggers used obscene language, insulting the girls of Kazakhstan. Later, they acknowledged their mistake and apologized. The specialized inter-district administrative court of Almaty issued a decision to arrest them for 15 days.

This behavior of the bloggers has caused a negative reaction among the residents of Kazakhstan.
