In Bishkek, officers of the Oktobersky District Internal Affairs Department arrested a woman suspected of extorting a significant amount of money. According to the police press service, she demanded 5 million soms from a man, using threats and psychological pressure against him.
A report was made to the investigative authorities by a citizen named M.A., who reported the actions of a girl named A. Since January, she had been extorting money from him, threatening violence and deprivation of liberty. The complainant asked law enforcement to take action against the suspect.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 208 "Extortion" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation and operational-search activities, the identity of the suspect was established. She turned out to be a citizen K.A., born in 2007. She was detained while receiving 300,000 soms.
After the arrest, the detainee was placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the capital. Investigative actions are ongoing.
