Recently, information appeared on social media stating that in one of the local schools, a girl born in 2009 was attacked by her classmates. The publications also raised the issue of the need for intervention by the Ministry of Education and the authorities.
The Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region confirmed that the incident did indeed occur, specifying that it took place in December, and that necessary investigative measures are currently underway.
According to law enforcement, on December 27, 2025, citizen A.Sh., born in 1997, reported to the Balakchy City Police Department. In her statement, she indicated that on December 25, 2025, around 12:00 PM, her younger sister, born in 2009, was beaten by her classmates at a public school, resulting in bodily injuries.
The statement was registered, and a preliminary investigation was initiated. A forensic medical examination was appointed to determine the nature of the injuries sustained by the 15-year-old girl. According to its results, the victim was diagnosed with minor bodily injuries that did not affect her health.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated on January 24, 2026, under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, three minor suspects, born in 2010, all from Balakchy, were identified. They were interrogated in the presence of their legal representatives.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing, and additional information will be provided later.
