According to law enforcement data, the suspect gained people's trust through deception by offering them new mobile phones at attractive prices. After receiving a prepayment, he disappeared without fulfilling his promises.
On January 2, he promised to deliver an iPhone 17 Pro Max to a resident of Bishkek who was in Osh within an hour, taking a prepayment of 11,000 soms, but he never delivered the product.
Additionally, on February 2, he asked one of the residents of Osh for an iPhone 15 Pro "for a call," after which he disappeared with the phone. The police received several similar complaints from other victims.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under the article "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As of February 13, the suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility, and investigative actions are ongoing.
Law enforcement authorities urge citizens to be cautious and refrain from handing over money or valuables to unfamiliar individuals without prior verification of their intentions.
