According to information from the regional Internal Affairs Department, the main goal of the raid was to curb the activities of individuals registered as members of organized criminal groups (OCGs). As a result of the operation, four citizens were brought to the Balakchy Internal Affairs Department for verification of their possible involvement in offenses.
As part of the criminal case initiated under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code, the police conducted a series of authorized searches at the residences of individuals with criminal connections.
During a search, a smoothbore firearm of 12-gauge caliber was found in the possession of 39-year-old citizen M.N., who is listed as a member of an OCG. A forensic ballistic examination has been appointed in this regard.
During the search at the home of another OCG member, 1963-born S.M., a 32-year-old citizen S.A. was found.
According to information, the detained S.A. had been officially wanted since 2021 by the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District of Bishkek, suspected of large-scale fraud. The man had managed to evade justice for a long time; however, as a result of operational information, he was detained in Balakchy.
By the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court, the detainee has been placed in a temporary detention facility (IVS). Currently, investigative actions are ongoing regarding both cases.
