
Electroshock devices and isolation cells were used for treating patients
The country's security service, GKNB, reported on the illegal activities of the rehabilitation centers "Idalgo," "Resolution," and "Bishkek-Mayak." This information was provided by the agency's press service.
According to the investigation, the leaders and staff of these centers used physical violence and unconventional treatment methods, including the use of electroshock devices, tying patients to furniture, and placing them in isolation cells. These actions caused physical and psychological harm to the patients.
During inspections, prohibited psychotropic drugs were also seized, which were used in the treatment of patients.
As a result of the operation, several individuals were detained, including "E.u.C.," "K.K.B.," "R.F.S.," "Z.A.Z.," "K.E.," "R.V.G.," and "M.A.A.," who are part of the management and staff of the rehabilitation centers.
The investigation has established two cases of patient deaths while receiving treatment at the "Bishkek-Mayak" center.
