The employees of the Drug Control Service in Osh have disrupted the activities of an organized crime group that was involved in large-scale supplies of Afghan-produced drugs.

During a search of a Daewoo Nexia car belonging to a 28-year-old citizen S.O.B., 101 grams of hashish and 155,000 soms were found. The seized money and drugs became material evidence in the criminal case.

As part of the ongoing investigative actions at the residence of 34-year-old D.S.S., a search was conducted using a service dog. As a result, 4 kilograms and 600 grams of hashish, two RGD-5 grenades, a homemade firearm, 51 cartridges, as well as $2,000 and 87,000 soms were seized.

The organizer of the crime group turned out to be 41-year-old K.S.S., who was also searched, during which Afghan hashish was found. According to police information, he already had legal issues related to drug offenses in other countries.

All three suspects were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility in the city of Osh.

The total amount of seized drugs amounted to 4 kilograms and 706 grams, as well as 2 grenades, a firearm, 51 cartridges, $2,000, and 242,000 soms.

Judicial chemical examinations have now been appointed, and activities to identify other members of the crime group are ongoing.
