This morning, strong wind gusts were observed in Bishkek and the Chuy region, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
In the Lenin district of the capital, on Moskovskaya Street, the wind tore the roof off a multi-story building, which then fell onto a neighboring structure.
Roofs were also damaged on Bakayev and Intergelpo Streets, and trees were uprooted in some areas.
In the Kok-Zhar residential area in Bishkek, the wind blew off the roof of one of the houses. Additionally, a fallen tree was hanging on power lines, and the cladding of a multi-story building fell onto two parked cars.
In the Chuy region, in the villages of Zhar-Bashy, Malovodnoe, and Belovodskoe, cases of roof damage and fallen trees were also recorded. In particular, in the village of Kurpuldok in the Panfilov district, the roof of the local secondary school was torn off.
