One of the suspects has been detained
The Bishkek police have detained a suspect in a fraud case who posed as a law enforcement officer. This was reported by the Main Department of Internal Affairs.
On December 12, 2025, a pensioner, M.O., born in 1949, filed a written complaint with the Sverdlovsk Internal Affairs Department. She reported that unknown individuals, posing as representatives of law enforcement agencies, deceived her and took her funds amounting to 850,000 soms, after which they ceased all communication.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case was initiated in accordance with Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, the suspect A.Z., born in 2004, was identified and detained. He has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs.
Investigative actions in this case are ongoing.
