The incident occurred on February 23 in the residential area of Ozyornoye. At around six o'clock in the morning, a group of strangers attacked a young man, taking his mobile phone. After that, they forced him to record a video in which he allegedly confesses to committing illegal acts, with the aim of misleading the public.
This case has been registered under Article 206 ("Robbery") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement agencies, namely the officers of the Sverdlovsk District Department of Internal Affairs and the Bishkek City Department of Internal Affairs, detained six individuals: R.M. (born in 1999), S.T. and S.S. (both born in 2007), A.R. (born in 2006), K.K. (born in 1998), and N.N. (born in 2004). All of them have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
An investigation into this case is underway.
