A complaint was received by the police from a resident of the capital, who reported that a young man rented a Sony FX30 video camera, a Sigma 24–70 lens, a flash drive, and a Tilta Full cage from him, after which he disappeared and stopped responding. The damage amounted to 276,255 soms.
This incident has been registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Officers of the Oktobrskiy Police Department detained the suspect, known as A.O., born in 1998, and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
Law enforcement agencies do not rule out that this individual may be involved in other similar crimes.
