On March 7, law enforcement agencies detained M.N.E., one of the significant leaders of this organization, who, according to the investigation, held the position of masul in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region. It is being established that he maintained contacts with other leaders of "Hizb ut-Tahrir" in the country, as well as with a representative of Kyrgyzstan within this banned structure.
According to the SCNS, for several years, the detainee has been propagating extremist ideas among the residents of the Jalal-Abad region, recruiting new followers, distributing extremist materials, and collecting funds from ordinary members to finance his activities.
The suspect has been placed in the SCNS detention center, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
