
A man suspected of distributing extremist materials via the internet has been detained in the Chuy region. This was reported by representatives of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the region.
During the investigation, an account on the social network Facebook was discovered, belonging to a user named "Aza Asanbekov," who shared extremist content.
To confirm the facts, a forensic linguistic examination was conducted, which revealed that the video recordings posted on the "BURANA INFO" website were linked to resources belonging to banned religious organizations. Additionally, it was established that this user also posted materials from the "Turkiston.kg" website, which is recognized in Kyrgyzstan as a propaganda resource of the international extremist group Hizb ut-Tahrir.
In connection with the identified facts, a criminal case was initiated under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, "Manufacturing and Distribution of Extremist Materials." The suspect, a citizen identified as Sh.A., born in 1987, has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
