According to the press service of the regional police, this incident was recorded in the Department of Internal Affairs of the Issyk-Kul region, which served as the basis for initiating a preliminary investigation.
As a result of the conducted activities, a suspect was identified — a resident of Karakol, A.M., born in 1970. The investigation established that he posted on his Facebook page a post titled "Алтын өндүрүлүүдө, бирок эл жакырчылыкта" ("Gold is being mined, but the people live in poverty").
For a more detailed legal analysis of the materials, a comprehensive forensic examination was conducted, including judicial linguistic and religious studies components, at the relevant institution under the Ministry of Justice.
The expert conclusion confirmed that the disseminated materials belong to the organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami," whose activities were banned in Kyrgyzstan back in 2003.
In this regard, the information was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Proceedings, and a criminal case was initiated against the suspect under Article 332 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the production and dissemination of extremist materials.
According to the decision of the Karakol City Court, a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of one month was chosen for the detained individual.
