According to law enforcement agencies, the man posted on his Facebook page a publication taken from the account Turkiston-kg. A judicial linguistic and religious studies examination established that the published materials are linked to the religious extremist organization "Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami," which has been banned in Kyrgyzstan since 2003.

A criminal case was initiated against the man under the article "Manufacturing and distribution of extremist materials." The city court of Karakol decided to place the suspect in custody for a period of one month.
