In Bishkek, law enforcement agencies detained two individuals suspected of committing robbery.
According to the data from the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District, the incident occurred on March 20 at around 13:45 on Fuchik Street. Unknown individuals beat a local resident and openly stole his belongings. The victim's wallet containing an MBank debit card and ID passport was taken, and the screen of his Redmi 14 Pro mobile phone was damaged.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 206 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspects, identified as K.E., born in 2004, and A.U., born in 1990, were detained as a result of operational search activities. One of them has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
