Recall that in January 2024, Mahabat was arrested along with ten journalists from Temirov Live, and they were charged with organizing mass riots. On February 25, 2025, the Supreme Court rejected the appeal of three of the detainees, upholding the sentence: Mahabat Tajibek kyzy received six years in prison, Azamat Ishenbekov received five years, and Aike Beishekeeva was found guilty with a three-year probation sentence. Additionally, Aktilek Kaparov received three years of probation, without questioning this decision. The other seven were acquitted due to lack of evidence of a crime.
