In Bishkek, false information began to spread on the WhatsApp messenger about a child becoming a victim of a traffic accident. This information was released by the Capital's Emergency Medical Service (УПСМ).
According to the police, on March 22, 2026, a traffic accident occurred at the corner of Frunze and Kakhovskaya streets, during which driver O.Zh.M. (born in 1985) hit the minor K.u.A., born in 2010, while he was crossing the pedestrian crossing.
After the incident, the victim was transported to Children's Hospital No. 3, where he received the necessary medical assistance. The boy was diagnosed with serious injuries, in particular, a closed fracture of the shoulder; he has been hospitalized and is under medical supervision.
According to information from the doctors, the child's condition is stable, he is alive, and his parents are by his side.
The Emergency Medical Service urged citizens not to trust rumors and refuted the information about the child's death, emphasizing the importance of relying only on official sources and avoiding the spread of unverified information.
