According to available information, the man impersonated a representative of the national security agencies, gained the trust of citizens, and used various tricks to extort money from them.
One of the victims reported that A.S., posing as a GKNB employee, promised to help free her son, who was in custody at the pre-trial detention center No. 1. As a result, he took a sum of 24,100 dollars and 100,000 soms.
Another citizen reported that in September 2025, the suspect, using the pretext of employment for Vietnamese citizens, received 14,000 dollars from him.
However, after receiving the money, the fraudster disappeared, failing to fulfill his obligations and return the funds.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing. The suspect has already been detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
