The investigation established that on April 20, 2025, the man gained trust and acquired a BMW 540I worth $40,000 under the pretext of an installment plan. He only made a down payment of $5,000.
However, as the complainant claims, the suspect later resold the car to third parties without paying the remaining $35,000 and stopped responding.
A man has been detained in Bishkek in a fraud case related to the sale of a BMW on an installment plan.
Based on this incident, the investigative service of the Interior Ministry of the October District initiated a criminal case under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Fraud".
As a result of operational activities, M. B., born in 1993, was identified and detained. He was taken to the investigative service and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
