In the Chui region, police officers detained a man suspected of committing fraud involving a Mercedes-Benz vehicle. According to law enforcement agencies, this car was sold to third parties and seized as material evidence. The investigation into the criminal case is currently ongoing.
It became known that a citizen named K.T., born in 1989, contacted the police. He reported that on October 27, a man named A., having gained his trust under the pretext of purchasing, took away his Mercedes-Benz 124, valued at 250,000 soms, and then fled.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 (Fraud) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During operational activities, police officers managed to detain the suspect, a citizen M.A., born in 1992, who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation established that the detainee had already sold the car to third parties. The vehicle was seized.
Law enforcement agencies are appealing to citizens who may have fallen victim to the actions of this individual to contact the Moscow district police department or call the numbers 0312 60-77-27 and 0701 15-96-54.
