Law enforcement officers detained the suspect in a large-scale fraud case, as specified by the agency.
According to the police, on January 15, a representative of one of the companies contacted the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department for assistance regarding a certain A.A.
The perpetrator, having gained the trust of the company's employees, under the pretext of transporting cars along the route Khorgos – Moscow – Belgorod, managed to seize four cars with a total value of $159,270, as well as received $4,000 in cash.
According to the investigation, the suspect intentionally deviated from the agreed route and entered the territory of Kyrgyzstan through the Dunlarov border post, after which he disposed of the cars at his discretion. He spent the obtained funds for his personal needs.
As a result, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 209 "Fraud in a particularly large amount" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
A.A., born in 1988, was handed over to the investigative authorities of the Sverdlovsk District Internal Affairs Department, where the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
The four cars that he did not manage to sell were discovered and seized, and are currently in the impound lot.
According to the police, the detainee is also involved in other similar fraudulent episodes.
