At the beginning of 2026, the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted a series of operational-search activities, as a result of which three foreign citizens who were wanted internationally by Interpol were detained.
The first detained individual is a citizen of country G. D., born in 1979, who was wanted for intentionally causing serious harm to health and illegal border crossing. After his arrest, he was sent to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District of Bishkek.
In the second case, at Manas International Airport, S. V., born in 1988, was detained while attempting to enter Kyrgyzstan. He was also wanted internationally for facilitating the illegal entry and stay of foreign citizens, using forged administrative documents, and participating in a criminal community in accordance with the criminal legislation of France. After his detention, he was taken to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Sokuluk District in the Chui Region.
Additionally, in Bishkek, with the help of the video surveillance system "Safe City," A. K., born in 1986, was detained, who was also wanted internationally on charges of fraud. After his arrest, he was sent to the Investigative Service of the Internal Affairs Department of the First May District.
The work to identify and detain individuals wanted internationally continues on a regular basis and is one of the key areas of law enforcement activities. The measures taken contribute to the prompt establishment of the whereabouts of the wanted individuals and the implementation of appropriate procedural actions in accordance with the legislation.
