The VIII World Championship in Mas-Wrestling is scheduled to take place from November 26 to 30, 2026, in the capital of Tatarstan — Kazan, at the "Ak Bars" Palace of Martial Arts.
Preparation for the event is already underway under the guidance of the All-Russian Federation of Mas-Wrestling, led by Mikhail Gulyaev. The Executive Director of the organization, Ivan Sivtsev, reported that an organizational meeting was held on January 30 at the Ministry of Sports of Tatarstan, where the following key points were approved:
The program and regulations of the World Championship; a plan of activities for preparation; a financial estimate.
In addition to the sports competitions, the championship will host a Conference of the International Federation of Mas-Wrestling and other official events aimed at promoting mas-wrestling on the international stage.
The organizers promise to create a business atmosphere and hold a large-scale event that will attract athletes and representatives of federations from all over the world.
