Winter Olympics. Kyrgyz skier Artur Saparbekov took 94th place

Arthur Saparbekov, a skier from Kyrgyzstan, participated in his debut event at the Winter Olympic Games taking place in Italy.

According to the official Olympic website, the cross-country skiing competitions in the "sprint" category using the skate technique started on February 10, featuring 94 athletes.

In the qualifying race, Arthur started with number 91. He completed the first 800 meters in 2 minutes 23.8 seconds and finished in 4 minutes and 36.85 seconds, which earned him 94th place in the race.

Out of all the qualifying participants, the top 30 athletes advanced to the quarterfinals, with Norwegian Johannes Høsflot Klæbo taking first place among them.

Arthur Saparbekov's next race is scheduled for February 13, where he will compete in the 10-kilometer freestyle event.
