The Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Olympic Committee of Russia, Mikhail Degtyarev, announced that the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, which will take place in Italy from February 6 to 22, will be broadcast through the streaming service Okko.

According to him, the platform will feature both the opening and closing ceremonies as well as all sporting events. "The broadcasts will be available live and on demand, and they can be watched on any devices," Degtyarev noted.

Additionally, viewers will be able to enjoy the broadcasts of the Olympic Games at no cost.

It is worth noting that the last official broadcasts of the Olympics in Russia took place in 2022. In 2024, Russian television missed the Games for the first time in the last 40 years.
