Tajikistan expresses serious concern regarding the worsening situation in the Middle East, particularly concerning Iran, and is categorically against any military actions, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In the official statement, the ministry emphasizes that the republic advocates for the peaceful resolution of all conflicts exclusively through diplomacy, urging the parties to adhere to the principles of the UN Charter and norms of international law.

“Tajikistan strongly urges all parties to consider the principles of the UN Charter and international norms, directing efforts towards maintaining peace and stability in the region,” the document states.

Recently, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that an "armada of American ships" is heading towards Iran.

“At this moment, a magnificent armada is moving towards Iran; we will be watching,” Trump stated during an event in Iowa.

He also added that he hopes for the possibility of a deal between Tehran and Washington, but did not specify the details of this proposed deal.
