Putin noted that Russia has always supported efforts to strengthen global stability. In connection with the proposal to join the 'Council of Peace', the Russian Foreign Ministry will conduct consultations with allies before providing an official response.

According to the Russian leader, Trump's initiative to create the 'Council of Peace' is primarily aimed at resolving the situation in the Middle East and addressing the Palestinian issue.

“It is important that the process in Gaza contributes to the resolution of the Middle Eastern conflict. The conditions of the Palestinians must be taken into account when restoring the Gaza Strip. Russia traditionally has special relations with the Palestinian people and is ready to allocate $1 billion to the 'Council of Peace' from frozen assets in the USA,” added Putin.

It is worth reminding that the initiator of the creation of the 'Council of Peace' was US President Donald Trump, who invited leaders from several countries to participate.

Recently, the US administration also announced the establishment of a committee to manage Gaza (NCAG). To join the 'Council of Peace', it is necessary to contribute $1 billion. As chairman, Trump will have the authority to expel or invite participants, block decisions, and create new structures.
